Transform Your Life — Live Authentically

"Ultimately, healing is becoming who you really are."

Dr. Ela Perra, PsyD

PSYCHOLOGIST • CERTIFIED TRANSACTIONAL ANALYST • REDECISION THERAPIST

Mission: My mission is to guide clients toward true transformation by addressing root causes and empowering Autonomy. By releasing the qualities of Awareness, Spontaneity, and Intimacy, we foster the essential freedom required for genuine growth.

Philosophy: I believe everyone is inherently "OK" and capable of profound change. Transformation is about real, structural change, not just "progress" or the acquisition of new tools. Through a personalized clinical approach, I help individuals gain the deep insight and responsibility needed to unlock their true potential for lasting, meaningful change.

Taking that first step to reach out is incredibly empowering. I would be honored to help you work towards your goals.

About Me

About Me

I’m a licensed psychologist with over 20 years of experience guiding individuals and couples toward meaningful, lasting change. My work blends evidence-based clinical methods with a humanistic, client-centered orientation that supports insight, self-awareness, and personal growth.

At AhaHub, I work with individuals and couples navigating life transitions, relationship and career challenges, and deeper questions of identity and purpose. Many come seeking clarity, authentic choice, and a life more fully aligned with their values.

I believe every person has the capacity for transformation. My role is to offer a safe, reflective, and personalized space where you can explore patterns, gain insight, and take meaningful responsibility for your growth.

Online sessions are available worldwide for individuals and couples.

My Philosophy

My work is grounded in Transactional Analysis and Redecision Therapy and oriented toward meaningful structural change. Rather than focusing solely on symptom relief, we explore the deeper patterns shaping your life.

I work with the whole person—thoughts, emotions, relational dynamics, and embodied experience—to help you move beyond limiting childhood scripts and into greater autonomy.

The ultimate aim is Autonomy: the capacity to live authentically through Awareness, Spontaneity, and Intimacy.

In a safe, non-judgmental space, we collaborate toward genuine transformation—not simply learning new tools, but experiencing a real shift in how you think, feel, and live.

Online sessions are available worldwide for individuals and couples.

My Approach

I integrate three core modalities into a flexible, individualized framework:

Transactional Analysis (TA)

A structured model for understanding patterns in thoughts, emotions, and relationships. It offers clarity about how early experiences shape present behavior and communication.

Redecision Therapy

Developed by Robert Goulding and Mary Goulding, this experiential method combines Transactional Analysis with Gestalt techniques to revisit limiting childhood decisions and support empowered, authentic change.

Trauma-Informed Practice (TRET)

I also integrate Trauma Resolution Energy Therapy (TRET), developed by Vann Joines. This approach recognizes that trauma is stored in both mind and body and supports deep emotional integration and regulation.

Sessions are reflective, structured, and collaborative—tailored to your specific goals.

Integrated Methodology

Redecision Therapy Developed by Robert Goulding, M.D., and Mary Goulding, M.S.W., in the 1960s, Redecision Therapy is a potent model that fuses the conceptual framework of Transactional Analysis with the experiential tools of Gestalt Therapy and elements of Cognitive Therapy.

This approach is based on the premise that by using goal-setting and the reenactment of pivotal childhood scenes, we can re-evaluate and change the self-defeating decisions made in our youth. By resolving these internal conflicts and family-of-origin issues, you gain the power to reshape your future and take full control of your life.

Trauma Resolution I utilize Trauma Resolution Energy Therapy (TRET), developed by Dr. Vann Joines. This transformative approach acknowledges that trauma is stored not only in the mind but also in the body and energy fields, often leading to deep-seated imbalances. By integrating the mind, body, and energy systems, TRET helps you release these physical and emotional imprints, promoting healing, self-discovery, and total integration.

The Methodology Your specific needs and goals dictate the method of intervention. Our work is flexible and can be applied through:

  • Reflective Consultation & Coaching

  • Systemic Consultancy

  • Transactional Analysis (TA)

  • Integrative Therapy

An Ethical Note on Testimonials

I’m often witness to deeply moving moments in my work,  clients expressing transformation, clarity, freedom, joy, or relief they hadn’t believed was possible. These aren’t just compliments; they’re private breakthroughs, spoken in trust.

Because of that, I’ve chosen not to publish testimonials or ask for public reviews. Therapy is not a product to promote; it’s a relationship built on safety, honesty, and respect. I don’t believe anyone should feel asked to turn their private growth into a public review, even with consent. I’d rather let the work speak for itself, offering a space where privacy, dignity, and safety are always respected.

While I do not share individual experiences, people often describe profound shifts such as:

  • Feeling safe and supported within themselves, even in difficult moments

  • Release from anxiety, fear, or inner tension

  • Developing a positive, supportive inner dialogue

  • Learning to enjoy their own company and establish healthy boundaries

  • Experiencing greater clarity, freedom, and vitality in relationships and daily life

  • Fulfillment, respect and independence in their relationships

  • Spontaneity and Intimacy.

  • Clarity and grounding.
